Stella has been a passionate educator / faciliatator throughout her working career. She taught and lectured Psychology in Dublin and London for 15 years and returned to her native Belfast in 1998.
Returning to Northern Ireland Stella worked on change management programmes and as a diversity specialist in Local Government . Stella has always maintained her pedagogical work with adults on a range of personal development programmes such as assertiveness, self confidence, image development, dealing with difficult clients, stress management through to visioning, and emotional intelligence.
Stella has presented widely in Northern Ireland and has worked on assignments with Politicians and senior Civil servants in Macedonia and Serbia. She is skilled at facilitating both large and smaller workshop groups, focusing on leading diversity, performance management, mediation and conflict resolution, coaching, personal effectiveness and leadership development.
Stella has worked with Chief Executive’s and senior leaders in the private, public, voluntary and community sector. Stella has worked with top Politicians in Northern Ireland on a range of matters including ‘the public image’. In addition to business coaching Stella also works as a life coach working with clients on a range of topics including personal image, visioning, work life balance and reorientation action planning. Stella completed a Diploma in Life and Business Coaching in 2005. She holds a BA. Degree in Psychology, Post graduate Diploma in Adult Education, Masters in Human Resources, is CIPD qualified and holds a British Psychological Society Level A & B certificate in occupational psychometric testing. Stella has certificates in Mediation, Colour breathing, colour analysis and Emotional Freedom technique.
Stella’s strength lies in facilitating learning with adults, starting with their needs, respecting their views and challenging them to fulfil their potential. Her style is inclusive while focused clearly on outcomes and action. Her career has centred on creating conditions in which individuals and groups can learn and develop.
